When can we see new stuff?
New designs will premiere on pretty much a monthly basis, as that's when our distributors offer new items to their retailers. There may be one or two exclusives that will sneak out onto the site whenver they're ready for prime time.
Are you only carrying your own designs?
Heck no, we're in the process of signing our first licenses for popular horror brands and we're anxious to give them the FearWerx treatment!
Will you be carrying items from other companies?
We just started offering horror merchandise from a few select companies. In order to do have done that, we've had to prove that we are the best and most reliable destination from a customer service standpoint, this way those companies can trust that we'll take care of their target customer.
Is your site secure?
Damn straight, it is! We were victims of identity theft ourselves, so it's a topic we're pretty vehement about. Transactions are gated by Authorize.net, the leading gateway for internet businesses since 1996, with over 175,000 businesses using them. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call Joe Sena, SphereWerx president, directly at 718.810.6501
How long does it take for me to get my stuff?
We offer UPS ground and US Post Office First Class and Priority Mail as options for delivery to ensure a timely arrival. It usually takes us less that 2-3 days to process and handle your order, then it is usally anywhere from 5-10 business days. If an order will take longer due to stock levels, you will be notified and have the option to cancel your order.
What is your refund policy?
We offer exchanges for defective or incorrect delivery only within 30 days of delivery. In addition, once you have confirmed your order, you are committing to the purchase and cancellations will only be honored for excessive delays in delivery beyond what is promised.
I ordered something and my card was charged, but I never received an email confirmation and I haven't received my order yet. What's going on?
More than likely you signed off of the site before confirming your order. This reports your order to the credit card companies but does not send the order information to us. So, unless we check the credit reports each day, we have no way of knowing that you even placed an order. Fortunately, we do exactly that on a daily basis to catch such orders. They are very infrequent, and this process virtually eliminates this question from the FAQ, but we thought it important to put it up here..
When I try to use your site, my browser pops up a warning about your security certificate. So, what's all this other nonsense you've been saying about how secure your site is?
Then you're a Mac user who prefers the Firefox browser, like us. Every application goes through cross-browser testing and sadly, us Mac people with Firefox browsers are in the tiny minority. Authorize.net and Comodo are our credit gateway and server security companies, and they are used for most of the online stores you visit. We are secure, and you are welcome to examine our certificate if you ask to. For some reason, the Firefox browser doesn't recognize the code for the certificate and therefore sends you a warning. It's there, the browser just doesn't see it. To prove this, go on any other computer and look at us through any other browser. Not only will that popup not appear, but look for the little LOCK graphic in your browser bar.
That very expensive item is listed at a ridiculous price like a dollar, or even $0.00...is that for real?
We're human, and chances are it's a typo. While we try to avoid such problems, they do happen, and our policy states that, like most retailers, we are not responsible for typographical errors and will not honor any attempts to purchase an item that is listed at a price that is clearly incorrect. Unless it's mentioned in a promotion or in a category marked "sale", chances are it's a typo and we would hope that folks with common sense and good intentions will make an inquiry before purchasing on an assumption.
My order is taking longer to deliver than promised or than what I'm used to from you guys. What gives?
Most likely, it's a convention weekend. Our retail staff doubles as our convention staff, and although we try to cover as many bases as possible, this may add a few days' delay to an order. Most time, we make it clear through promotions or graphics on the site when it's convention time.
I purchased an item that looked like it was in stock on your site, but I just a got a refund and was told that the item is out of stock. What happened?
Again, it's probably convention time. We try to adjust our inventory levels to reflect what we're bringing to shows, but there is always the chance we've missed something.
Slow zombies or fast zombies?
All zombies. As long as they're undead, they're never unwelcome (hey that sounds like a great shirt idea...) |
